Stefanie Arndt, DVM

Intern, Equine Medicine/Surgery

Stefanie Arndt grew up outside Hannover, close to the heart of Germany’s warmblood breeding region, where she rode and competed horses from an early age. She graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany in 2015.

Following graduation, Stefanie worked at a hospital intern at Pferdeklinik Bargteheide, one of the largest private equine hospitals in Germany. In 2016 she returned to the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover to work as an intern in the teaching hospital and to complete post-graduate research on anesthetic recovery in horses. Stefanie moved to the United States to start a rotating equine surgery/ internal medicine internship in July 2017. She is especially interested in equine surgery, and hopes to pursue a surgical residency after her internship.
