- Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center honors Cindy Ingram with Distinguished Service Award The award is the highest honor at the EMC. Ingram has been an active member of the center's Advisory Council since 2001 and previously served as co-chair of Virginia Tech’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy Council.
- New, high-definition CT scanner arrives at Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center The scanner, which is the first of its kind on the East Coast, allows veterinarians and staff at the center to perform high-definition CT scans on horses while standing or recumbent.
- VT Alerts test scheduled for Sept. 13 at all six Virginia Tech regions, locations The test will occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. When a VT Alert is sent out, the information is communicated with the community via campus sirens, electronic message boards, emails to vt.edu addresses, and social media updates.
