Farrier
Luke Goodness has been associated with equine veterinarians and the farrier shop his entire life. He nailed his first shoe at age 10 and has been shoeing horses in some capacity ever since.
Seeking a broader and more-formal educational experience, Goodness moved to Oklahoma and graduated from 5 Star Farrier school in late 2010. He spent some time working as a farrier and shoeing ranch horses in Colorado, but eventually decided to return to Virginia, joining the Forging Ahead team and beginning a full-time farriery practice in this area.
Goodness successfully completed the American Farrier’s Association (AFA) certification in 2009, and is now working towards an AFA Journeyman certification.
